Laser-based microfabrication equipment at U of A gives medical device developers a boost
Edmonton Journal — Three new devices complete the U of A-based ST Innovation’s laser microfabrication suite. These include a femtosecond laser making ultra-fine, clean and precise cuts as small as 5 microns, a fibre laser micro-welder to put small devices together, and an optical profiler that creates high-resolution 3D images.
